Quiet Your Mind

Our minds are very active. It is completely normal to get distracted by our thoughts because on average, we have more than 6000 thoughts per day.

And while we can’t silence our mind - we can find ways to quiet our mind so that we are in a calm, centered place to make the best choices.

One way to quiet the mind is to shift our attention away from our thoughts. There are many ways to do this - such as journaling, exercise, listening to music, or being in nature.

Today we’ll practice another method, which is focusing our attention on different physical sensations.

As always, to go through the guided reflection now - simply find a peaceful place to sit where you won’t be interrupted, hit play, and breathe. You’ve got this!

What came up for you in this? How did it feel to quiet your mind? I’d love to hear how it went.

With gratitude,
Pamela
